Givenchy 2011 Spring/Summer Collection

The Riccardo Tisci’s Givenchy 011 spring/summer collection continued on with the designer’s penchant for monochromatic colors and a goth-inspired aesthetic. 

Blending the realm of street and high fashion, the collection revolved around classic colors such as black, white and nude which further compounded the impact of Tisci’s sub-theme involving leopard prints.

MUSTANG

Un viaggio nel design che parte dalle mitiche auto sportive americane, che
hanno segnato uno stile inconfondibile e che hanno dettato le regole grafiche
per tutte le auto sportive dagli anni 60 ad oggi.
I designer di Quarto di miglio avevano in mente questo quando hanno pensato
al Mustang, un oggetto sofisticato da portare al polso per esibire una passione
che pulsa ad un ritmo di 6 cilindri.
Sognando le forme aerodinamiche di una razza d’acciaio, l’automobile, la
cassa non poteva che essere di questo materiale. Costruito interamente in
Italia in serie limitata, l’orologio è stato curato in ogni sua parte. La
particolarità di questo modello è la posizione dei pulsanti, che si trovano sulla
sinistra, con lo scopo di non interferire con i movimenti del polso. Il logo è
serigrafato sul quadrante nella parte sinistra; dalla parte opposta invece si
trova il datario allargato a 3 giorni.
Il contatore dei piccoli secondi è posto a ore sei, mentre quello dei minuti
posizionato alle dodici.
Gli indici sono applicati artigianalmente uno alla volta.
Il fondello squelette è ricavato dal pieno e lascia intravedere il movimento
automatico Valjoux 7750. Sia sul fondello che sulla massa oscillante troviamo
le incisioni a diamante.
Proprio come la gamma colori della carrozzeria di una macchina, anche il
Mustang è stato declinato in ben X colorazioni da abbinare con il cinturino in
pelle oppure in gomma PU.
