Now Robbie Williams is making clothes.
In this exclusive short film, the Take That star and Stoke-on-Trent native explains the inspiration behind his new label Farrell.
Named after his real-man-about-town grandfather Jack Farrell and bearing the motto "Wear it in, wear it out", the collection professes to be about honest, unflashy pieces with "a bit of snap" that look at home on the terraces as they do between rows of terraced houses - as this video proves.

David Beckham Is Coming Out With an Underwear Line for H&M

"Another boring summer day for fashion news. Can't be anything good happening this early on a Thursday in JULY. Oh wait, David Beckham? Getting somewhere ... Bodywear? Translates to underwear. Something to care about! Attachment — pictures? Text-only press release. Stay awake, stay awake. Wait, H&M? Don't they usually hire actual designers to do these lines?"

So evidently the chain is making an exception for Beckham, like they did for Madonna.
His bodywear, translates to underwear, will go on sale at 1800 H&M stores in 40 countries on February 2, 2012, in time for Valentine's Day, everyone's least-depressing non-holiday.
Still, there's something jarring about H&M, which has done lines in the past with Karl Lagerfeld, Stella McCartney, and Comme des Garcons, among others, doing a celebrity line of underpants now.
Maybe it's just because the Madonna line launched so long ago it's hard to remember it. This is not troubling to H&M, whose press release easily qualifies Beckham:

The R8 GT builds on the award-winning R8 Coupe and Spyder and represents the pinnacle of performance in the Audi model line. This is the first limited production sports car produced by Audi, and only 333 units will be built worldwide with 90 units destined for the U.S. Each R8 GT has its production number displayed on the gear shift.
The R8 GT starting price is $196,800.

Dolce & Gabbana Global E-Store Launch
Dolce & Gabbana launched its global online store offering men’s and women’s clothing/accessories in seven languages via computer, mobile and social networks.
The Italian fashion house has always been ahead of the fashion pack in terms of online communication; live streaming its first catwalk show in 2005, launching its own editorial channel Swide in 2007 and famously sitting fashion bloggers on its front row in 2009.
The new e-store will take an editorial approach to digital merchandising: the product catalogue interface will be flanked by a “shop-by-look” impagination with the visual impact of a magazine, photos can be viewed in 360°and videos are integrated in the product cards (in attachment the screenshots of the website).
This project is the last step of the brand's emotional and editorial strategy in the digital world, and represent at highest levels the Dolce&Gabbana's deep commitment to the social and anthropological aspects of the net revolution.
The eStore is a true all-embracing experience, which places the product within a narrative: the narrative of the Dolce&Gabbana lifestyle.

Louis Vuitton S/S 2012
Kim Jones presented his first collection as head menswear designer at Louis Vuitton, under the artistic direction of Marc Jacobs, during Paris Fashion Week and the fashion-world has been abuzz with praise.
Con le linee classiche... tutto perfetto, nulla da ridire.
Mi chiedevo, però, perchè il ritorno ai mocassini, di dubbio gusto, e sopratutto, al calzino stile "tedesco in vacanza in estate" cosa che aborro totalmente, e non penso di essere l'unica.
Per quanto riguarda, invece, la linea classica, adoro le giacche e il taglio dei pantaloni, eviterei, solo il risvolto, va bene con i jeans, ma con i pantaloni classici lascia un po' a desiderare; meglio armarsi di ago e filo e impuntare una piega ben fatta.
